SMACK is the long-running Thursday promotion from promoter Tom Whitman. In a stunning space designed by Thomas Schoos, the boys in West Hollywood come out in force every Thursday night.
Prime dinner reservations are at 8pm, and the cocktail crowd begins to arrive after 9pm. At 9:15pm, 11:15pm and 12:15am, Smack hosts the “World’s Fastest Open Bar.” For five minutes, bartenders serve as many drinks as possible. If you can get up to the bar and place your order in those five minutes, your drink is free. Listen for the whistle, and watch for the countdown clock on the projection screens.
