SMACK is the long-running Thursday promotion from promoter Tom Whitman.  In a stunning space designed by Thomas Schoos, the boys in West Hollywood come out in force every Thursday night.

Prime dinner reservations are at 8pm, and the cocktail crowd begins to arrive after 9pm.  At 10:45pm and 11:45pm, Smack hosts the “World’s Fastest Open Bar.”  For five minutes, bartenders serve as many drinks as possible.  If you can get up to the bar and place your order in those five minutes, your drink is free.  Listen for the whistle, and watch for the countdown clock on the projection screens.

"Boys who like boys who like blazers find each other every Thursday at Smack, promoter Tom Whitman's weekly event at O-Bar in West Hollywood. Large white drapes soak up the dull roar of chattering agents, writers and trendy assistants schmoozing to trade up. There's no roosting spot that isn't in somebody's way, but nobody seems to mind the hands of those trying to slide past."

SPEND NEW YEAR'S EVE AT THE BIGGEST PARTY IN THE WORLD WITH 2 MILLION PEOPLE ON THE BEACH IN RIO.

Promoters Dudi Cotrim (Rio) and Tom Whitman (Los Angeles) come together to throw a VIP Party above Ipanema Beach. The party is on the rooftop and penthouse of the Ipanema Plaza hotel, right above the 2 million people celebrating New Year's on the beach. We are one block from the huge dance tents and concert stages, and you can come and go from the madness below. But, up on our rooftop, a select VIP list of 350 of Rio's hottest guys (and other guys from around the world like you) dance to music from DJ Rafael Calvente (Rio) and DJ Josh Peace (Los Angeles). Tickets include open bar all night long, a buffet all night long, (and even breakfast.)

Ivan Kane, owner of famed club Forty Deuce, is again redefining what’s sexy in nightlife by teaming up with LA gay super-promoter Tom Whitman to produce the only weekly gay burlesque show in the country called “Lucky Devil Burlesque”.

“Lucky Devil” at Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce will consist of three different shows throughout the night.  Each sultry routine is unique from one performance to the next and will feature familiar as well as cutting edge songs ranging from George Michael’s ‘Father Figure’ to Kylie Minogue’s ‘Slow’ and M.I.A.’s “Bamboo Banga.”  The performances are choreographed by Tovaris Wilson who has worked for mega-celebrities such as Britney Spears and Janet Jackson.  The “Lucky Devil” Burlesque dancers are professional dancers who have worked with various industry titans. This is a hot, sweaty show unlike anything the gay community has ever seen.

“Ivan brings such an amazing level of sophistication and production value to each of his shows,” says Tom Whitman, “We were on the same page from the start – we wanted to create a full-fledged professional burlesque show, but with hot, sexy, masculine guys.”

In only the first few weeks, already celebrities such as Dita von Teese, Macy Gray, choreographer Jamie King, Amazing Race’s Reichen Lehmkuhl as well as members of the Pussycat Dolls have joined the packed crowd at Lucky Devil!

Each week, the show changes.  New dancers rotate in, and new songs are added and shows changed.
This show and this night are unlike anything you have seen.
Promoter Tom Whitman’s Friday night at Fubar is his dirtiest event yet.  The best go go boys in town shaking their stuff in your face, shot boys dressed in next to nothing, a packed crowd of guys looking for their next ex-boyfriend, and hot bartenders who are loose – with their cocktails.  Drunk and Horny began at i-candy, and now has moved to Fubar.

Resident DJ JOSH PEACE spins dirty pop, trashy house and party music every week.
