Elevation, the annual Mammoth Gay Ski Week, brings together people from across the country and the world, for a week of events that celebrate diversity, fun, and the best spring skiing and boarding in North America. Elevation celebrated its fifth year in 2007, with more than 1500 riders, seven major parties, and zero attitude. The hottest guys on the West Coast (and beyond) converge on Mammoth in March for what is now the third largest gay ski week in North America.
In the past couple of years, world class DJs have spun both night-time and apres-ski events, including Manny Lehman, Brett Henrichsen, Kimberly S, Roland Belmares, Scotty K and Josh Peace. Annual highlights include the Party at 10,000 Feet, which begins with a dark night-time gondola ride to the highest elevation party in North America, and Cliffhanger, the biggest event of the weekend. And of course, the best apres-ski parties in the world, with more than 600 boys packed onto one patio.
In 2008, DJ Roland Belmares and DJ Brett Henrichsen will headline the two night-time events. The Westin is opening an amazing new condo hotel complex, the Westin Monache.
